| | Spirit or Flesh? Something that has become very real to me, is that sometimes we as humans can tend to neglect the fact that the little thoughts in our head or mind need to be deciphered as to their purpose. They can either tear us down or build us, and those around us- up.
1John 4: 2-3 speaks to this:
"This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God
(thoughts that are good and true in nature):
Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God
(thoughts and feelings that represent the principles of love, purity and disregard for hate- in all circumstances),
but every spirit (or in context- 'thoughts') that does not acknowledge Jesus
( principles that that disregard love, purity and harmony in all circumstances)
is not from God".
Therefore, I fully believe that if we don't take this into account (whatever belief one may hold...), that ruin becomes us- first from the inside, then on the outside.
Just a thought, not a sermon ("Lon Solomon Style"). `Have a sweet week, `M |
